i.b.s.® accomplish 30 Years!

On March 01th 1996, our company was founded as i.b.s. International Bodyguard & Security Agency e.K.. At that time, our core focus was armed close protection and the provision of high-end security services in both national and international environments.

With increasing international engagement, continuous capability development and the consistent strategic expansion of our service portfolio, the company evolved step by step. In addition to close protection, operational services, maritime security solutions, strategic advisory services, and specialized training and education programs for national and international clients became integral pillars of our activities.

In December 2017, reflecting this development, the company was renamed i.b.s. International Operative Services e.K.. The new name represents our broader operational scope, international capability and expanded service philosophy.

Three decades of activity in security-critical and often sensitive operational environments primarily mean responsibility — responsibility toward our clients, business partners, governmental institutions and authorities, as well as toward our own personnel.

In security-critical environments, sustainable success is not built on visibility, but on reliability, discretion, integrity and professional execution. Trust is not created through words, but through consistently delivered quality over many years.

This anniversary is therefore not the result of a single entrepreneurial effort, but the expression of a collective journey.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our employees, whose professional expertise, loyalty and personal dedication form the foundation of our company. Without their commitment — often under demanding operational conditions — this path would not have been possible.

We equally thank our business partners and cooperating companies for their long-standing and trust-based collaboration, professionalism and mutual respect.

Thirty years are not only an opportunity to reflect, but above all an obligation for the future. Security policy and regulatory environments continue to evolve. Requirements are becoming more complex, operational scenarios more dynamic and expectations more demanding.
