i.b.s.® still No. #2 on German BAFA list!

On 16. of March 2023 the list of the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) for armed maritime security provider has been up dated. Now remaining on this list are only four (4) security provider (3 German, 1 British) world wide approved to carry out armed maritime security services on commercial vessel carrying the German flag. Our company i.b.s. International Operative Services e.K. founded in the year 1996 and approved since the establishment of the new German law in the year 2013 has received its renewed approval in February 2023 coming into effect up from 16. of March 2023 and is still the only German security company with comprehensive operational experience in the provision of armed maritime security services on commercial vessel and yachts. With this shorten list of only four (4) BAFA approved security provider but with only two (2) of them showing uninterrupted operational experience in the context of counter piracy missions the market has as well shorten in regards of the legal provision of armed maritime security services on German flagged vessel. We are proud being still one (1) of these approved companies at this list.
